What roadside assistance includes
Roadside is a bundle of on-the-spot repairs: boosting a dead 12-volt battery, opening a locked door without drilling, and swapping a flat for the spare in your trunk. Fuel delivery and simple winch pulls can ride along when the truck is already rolling. The goal is to get you off the shoulder without a shop visit when the failure is simple.
It is not a substitute for a crash scene or a car sitting in a canal. Those belong on accident recovery or winch-out. Use roadside when the car is intact and the problem is power, access, or one tire.
How a roadside call works
- Call (504) 414-8034 and name the failure: no crank, keys inside, or a flat with or without a spare.
- Dispatch quotes from $65 and gives a 30-minute-class ETA for the New Orleans metro.
- Stay in the vehicle if you are on a fast road. Turn on hazards and unlock when the driver knocks.
- The technician completes the jump, entry, or tire swap and tests that the car is safe to drive a short distance.
- If the fix fails, we load the car the same visit using our light-duty or flatbed rates.
When roadside is the right call
Interior lights that went dark after a restaurant stop, a key fob that died in a hotel lot, and a nail on Tchoupitoulas are classic roadside jobs. So are parade-day lockouts when you stepped out to watch a float and the doors clicked shut. If you have no spare, say so immediately so we bring a tow instead of a jack.

What to have ready
Know the garage level, the color of the car, and whether you have a spare and a working key. If children are in the vehicle during a lockout, say that first.
