What a roadside tire change includes
We stabilize the car, use the correct jack point, remove the flat, and mount your spare to the spec lug pattern. We torque the lugs and put the flat in the well or cargo area. The $65 rate assumes one standard passenger wheel and a spare that holds air. Dual flats, seized lugs, or aftermarket locks without a key become a tow.
This is a core roadside task. It is not a wheel alignment, a TPMS relearn subscription, or a mobile tire store. If you high-centered on a median while the tire came apart, add winch-out recovery so we do not jack a car that is still hung on concrete.
How the tire-change process works
- Call (504) 414-8034. Name the location, which corner is flat, and whether a spare and lock key are in the car.
- We quote from $65 or switch you to a tow quote if there is no spare.
- On a highway, stay belted with hazards on. We set cones and work from the passenger side when we can.
- We change the wheel and confirm the spare is seated. You drive to a shop the same day.
- If lugs are rounded or the spare is dead, we load the car and tow it the same visit.
When you should not try it yourself
Do not kneel on the West Bank Expressway or I-10 at night to fight a rusty lug. Do not use a scissor jack on unlevel grass after a storm. Those are how tire changes become injury calls. Wait in the car. Our average arrival is 30 minutes, and the driver has the lighting and the stand-off space you do not.
