Canal Street is a transit spine, a commercial strip, and a streetcar route at once. A disabled car there is not a quiet suburban no-start. City Park Avenue flips between calm weekday mornings and packed festival nights. I-10 and I-610 add high-speed shoulders a few blocks from shotgun houses. We staff Mid-City as if those three maps were different towns.
Carrollton Avenue ties Mid-City toward Uptown and the riverbend. Orleans Avenue and Broad run toward the fairgrounds. A lockout after a show is a $65 job. A car that dies in a hospital garage may be a jump or a tow depending on whether it will hold a charge for the exit ramp.

If the city towed you from Mid-City
Parade and parking enforcement along Canal and around the park send cars to the city pound at 400 N. Claiborne Avenue. That is not our wrecker. Use nola.gov/towing and our impound retrieval guide, then call us to haul the car home after release.
