How the rate is built
There is no separate “out of town” menu. A standard hook-up is $75. A flatbed hook-up is $95. Mileage is $4 per mile from the pickup we confirm to the drop-off you name. We add those pieces and read you one number. Time of day does not change it. We are open 24/7/365 with no after-hours surcharge.
Family-owned, licensed, insured, and bonded. The fleet is light-duty: cars, SUVs, and small trucks, including AWD, lowered, luxury, and classic vehicles. We do not advertise tractor-trailers. If the vehicle is outside that class, we will decline instead of guessing with the wrong truck.
Worked examples (estimates only)
Miles below are approximate highway distances from central New Orleans. Your driveway, a Kenner hotel, or a West Bank shop will change the count. Use the table to see the shape of the math. Then call for the total we will actually honor.

A Slidell or Houma run on a flatbed uses the same $95 hook-up plus $4 per mile. We will calculate that live so we do not publish a second estimate that might not match your pin. For shorter metro hops, stay on the local cost guide.
When to choose a flatbed for a long haul
A wheel-lift is fine for many front-drive cars that roll. It is the wrong tool when all four wheels are driven, when the car sits low, or when a collision left the tires at odd angles. On a long haul those miles add up on the drivetrain. Ask for a flatbed if the car is AWD, lowered, luxury, classic, or will not roll.
If you are unsure, say the year, make, and drivetrain on the first call. Dispatch will assign the bed when the description warrants it. That is the same judgment we use on a five-mile Mid-City run — we just apply it to more miles.
What dispatch asks
- Pickup address or a clear landmark in the New Orleans metro.
- Destination city and the street we will unload on.
- Year, make, and whether the car is AWD or lowered.
- Whether it rolls, steers, and holds a parking brake.
- A callback number that will stay on until the driver arrives.
With that, we can quote $75 or $95 plus $4 per mile and give an arrival for the pickup. Average metro arrival is about 30 minutes. The haul itself is a longer clock once we are loaded. We will not invent a door-to-door time we cannot keep.
What we can and cannot haul
Light-duty towing means passenger vehicles and small trucks. We cover pickups inside the New Orleans metro — Metairie, Kenner, Gretna, Marrero, Algiers, Lakeview, Uptown, Mid-City, Garden District — and then drive the miles you bought. If you need a winch before the car will come off a shoulder, that starts at $95 and is added to the same quote.
